I have a very powerful Combee, 14'x7' airboat with a 500 cu. in. bored to 519 Cadillac 8 cyl. engine with a 4 barrel Edelbrock carb. in very good condition. The engine does not make a complete revolution before it starts with an HEI ignition. My GPS records the boat at 49 mph in good nautical conditions. Parts for this engine are readily available from all parts stores. (not like the crazy airplane engines used in so many airboats). ( I will provide a new, in the box, water pump as well as a new electric fuel pump.) This engine is mounted on factory pipes and I added 4 schedule 40 stainless steel 2.25" diameter pipes for extra strength and safety. See one in the photo. The fuel tank is a 30 gallon ethylene tank. This engine runs on regular gasoline. The wood prop is 74 inches and can be balanced easily with the balancing kit provided. It is balanced now. I added the largest sump pump I could find with floatation tanks added to the stern for extra safety. The battery is new and it is the best NAPA had at $126.00 I also added much stainless steel to the rigging with a total stainless steel steering system. The radiator is aluminum and a year old with about 4 hours running time on it. I had a custom heavy duty grass rake made that was factory dipped in hot galvanize solution. The fiberglass hull is reinforced with woven roving. The whole bow is a large storage compartment. This boat seats 4 with seat belts comfortably on seats with no rips.
The trailer is complete with an electric winch and remote control, in very good condition with all lights working. It has stainless steel slides and stainless fender reinforcing bars. This boat is ready to go. Just clip in your lanyard, turn on the electric fuel pump, press on the starter button and off you go. I have covers for the instrument panel and carb. I also have a beautiful heavy duty white Yamaha jet boat cover for the entire boat. This boat has been garaged all year except June to mid Oct. when this cover was used. Other then some cosmetics, this boat needs nothing. If you are sick and tired of running aground in shallow muddy water than this boat is for you. This is a fantastic boat to get you to a duck hunting location that you could not get to before. Remember, you don't need water with an airboat!!! $8500.00 Please go on websites and learn how much airboats cost before you think this is a high price for a boat with all these additions and condition.
