2004 Menorquin 130 Pilot House Coastal Cruiser
“Tortuga Blanca” is a beautiful, low engine hour, USA specification example of this 43’ Spanish-built coastal cruiser popular in the Mediterranean. The yacht’s design and build quality echo the history and elegance of the Balearic Island’s traditional fishing boats. The brand is known for gorgeous nautical lines, high quality craftmanship and comfort underway in many sea conditions.
Tortuga has spent most of her life in the Chesapeake Bay area with travel down the ICW into Florida waters and various trips along the east coast. She has been reimagined and refitted with emphasis on increased safety, comfort, and cruising capabilities. Tortuga is currently berthed in Brunswick, Georgia and well-staged for the beginning of a 2024 Great Loop adventure for the next owner. ·     New PYI PSS 50mm Dripless Shaft Seals with new water feed valves and hoses on both engine shafts.
·     Running gear stripped to bear metal with new primer and barrier coat layers applied to the shafts, props, rudders, and support struts with all sacrificial anodes replaced.
·     New Groco water strainers, new hoses and new thru-hull valves installed to feed the forward and aft AC/Heating units.
·     New FUSION audio system with head unit at the helm and Signature Series 3i speakers in pilothouse and salon.
·     New SimpliSafe security and monitoring system provides 24/7 protection via smartphone and laptop apps with four WiFi enabled cameras, CO2 and smoke detectors, bilge water detection, temperature sensors and infrared motion detection.
Considerable thought, time, talent, and treasure have been expended on the initial acquisition and subsequent refit of this fine yacht. Engines and generator have fresh oil and filters. Majority of the exterior woodwork has been stripped and re-varnished as part of a recent March/April Spring 2024 refit block. She is now available due to a change in the owner’s family circumstances.
